....are non-existent in sunny Cali, but somehow the flowers are still blooming. They say we don't have spring in LA but that is false. It may be subtle but it exists. :) Spring, subtle or not, has always signified a sort of re-birth for me...cleaning out the closets and drawers of not only my home, but my mind and getting really clear about what isn't "in style" anymore or what "doesn't fit" anymore. For me, this proverbial "spring cleaning" has been going on for almost 1 year and, like most significant changes, requires a lot of patience in the yielding of results. Well, as I have said before, "Don't hold me back, I'm ready to go" :) Here's what's a-brewin' lately....
1) April 21st @ Jimmi's Bar & Grill in Fullerton, CA I get the pleasure of opening up for Beth Hart in an intimate set! I am truly and personally excited as always to share the stage with such an amazing artist!
2) On April 21st I will be debuting a new t-shirt based on one of the new songs ("Abilene") on my upcoming album (in process). They are designed by Bubbled Wall and are kick ass :)
3) The Spring Tour for The Julie Neumark / Luis Oliart Trio (JNLO Trio) is just about booked! We will be kicking it all off in LA at The Hotel Cafe on Wed., June 13 @ 8pm sharp!
